Thanks to a leaked presentation video we get to know the first details of the new generation Volkswagen Golf. The 2014 version of hatchback daddy is longer, wider and generally bigger than the outgoing model, even though it’s a 100 kg lighter. The interior is more spacious and the luggage room is improved as well.
To catch your glimpse of the car’s design though, you are going to have to wait a bit longer. VW Golf VII will be officially unveiled on September 4th.
In the video we also get a brief look at the car’s list of features and options. The list includes some very interesting items such as fatigue detection, an auto brake feature, lane assist, adaptive cruise control, cylinder deactivation and driving settings. The Golf has always been the best hatchback money can buy. As always VW hasn’t changed the recipe, they’ve just tweaked it, made it better.
