With super cars like Lamborghini Aventador, aftermarket products are more than just a way to improve the car’s performance. They are luxury goods often costing more than a regular second-hand car. Capristo is one of these aftermarket specialists that makes high-performance exhaust systems for high-end car, and they just announced a package for the big Lambo.

Naturally an after market system is lighter than the stock unit, and this one’s no exception. They’ve actually gone the extra mile and replaced some of the plastic components in the engine and intake areas with carbon fiber. The overall weight reduction is about 40 kg.

Capristo’s exhaust system is made of highly durable 1.4828 stainless steel in a brilliant mirror finish. It comes with new exhaust flaps as well as a remote control. The performance difference over the standard model is not very significant – 0 to 100 time is only 1/10th of a seconds quicker and the top speed only 3 km/h faster – but they sure do sound nastier.
