When the words Carlsson, Mercedes, and Coupe come together, you automatically imagine something, big, posh, and very powerful. But that is just not the case with the Carlsson CB 20S. This one is possibly the most sensible car Carlsson has ever made. It is based on the C-Class coupe, but it’s not a C63 AMG. It is in fact based on an entry-level C180 Coupe.

It is still a very good package though, as far tuning is concerned. The standard 156 hp engine in the C180 is boosted by Carlsson to 201 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque, which means the car can now go from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds and tops 233 km/h.

Visual changes include silver mesh grille for the front and a C63-style rear diffuser with four tailpipes. A set of 19-inch Carlsson wheels are also part of the package. To get the Carlsson Signature Line interior treatment with leather and Alcantara, you have to shell out an extra 5,000 euros.

Carlsson CB 20S will become available from September 1, priced at 41,531 euros.
