Most of the Carlsson tuning company is now owned by the Chinese, and this is what they’ve just come up as a tribute to that populated part of the world. The Carlsson Mercedes GL Royal Last Edition is designed to please the Chinese millionaries, but seeing as they only car about the visuals, it’s based on the 3.0-liter V6 diesel model. They do offer a V8 engine of course, at extra cost.

This special GL finished in a two-tone black and orange garnished with chrome parts is just the sort of things that excite people in China. The car also gets a massive RS-design body kit with wide wheel arches, side skirts, front and rear aprons mesh grille, new fog lamps, a diffuser unit, four tailpipes, and tinted windows. Not to mention big wheels are also included and they are incredibly shiny.

One would imagine a same sort of treatment has been applied to the cabin with lots of orange leather bits and carbon trimming. Last but not least, Carlsson offers to tune the diesel engine from 280 hp to 310 hp.
