Audi today unveiled the latest version of the A3 Sportbacck 5-door hatchback to introduce a fabulous new contender to this segment. The new A3 adapts Audi’s new look with distinctive headlights and the signature grille up front, and some nicely shaped taillights at the back. These details are supposed to liven things a bit. But as is the case with almost all 5-door Audis, it is more elegant than sporty.

Just so you know, the 2013 A3 five-door will be available with a choice of three petrol and diesel engines at launch, with another three joining the lineup later on. Prices tart at 22,500 Euro in Europe and £19,825 in the UK. Americans will only get the sedan version of this car.

The new Audi A3 Sportback will make its official public debut at the Paris Motor Show next week.
