Kia Motors design department continues striving as the brand unveils another new model that looks 110 percent better than the one it replaces. This is the new Kia Carens for 2013, and although it’s a compact MPV – which means it should be hideously boring – it’s actually alright. The Carens looks like a handsome hatchback that’s taken some steroids.

The new Kia Carens has been designed from the ground up as a new car. It doesn’t share anything with the old model. It is more stylish, aerodynamic, spacious, and practical than that, and offers up to seven seats. However, when it goes on sale in Europe in Spring 2013, it’s going to face some tough competition like the new and extremely clever Ford B-Max.

Along with the new Carens Kia will also bring the new Pro Ceed, the 2.0-litre Optima Hybrid saloon, and the new Sorento SUV with an all-new 2.4-litre 192 ps GDI engine option to the Paris Motor Show.
