Following a couple of CGI pictures and a teaser shot, German Lamborghini specialist DMC released full details and pictures of their LP900 ‘Molto Veloce’ package for the Aventador. This insane Lambo, as the name suggests, gets a 900-hp upgrade and a superb body kit. They may have inadvertently made the Aventador SV here. Bet Lamborghini is not happy!
The styling kit on the LP900 consisting of a massive carbon lip at front, which fits onto the stock bumper, new side skirt diffusers for improved aerodynamics, a new rear fascia with a big diffuser and an added tunnel system, as well as a fixed rear wing, all of which increase the downforce at high speed.
DMC can paint all these components if you like, but exposed carbon fibre looks pretty cool next to the fiery orange color of this car. They’ve also blacked out the roof on this particular car, and used orange wheels. Those wheels alone cost 10,000 Euro.
Performance-wise, the LP900 benefits from deep engine modifications, chief among which is the use of 12 unique single intake throttle plates – one per each cylinder. It also gets new gasoline pumps and lines, pressure modulators and injection nozzles, revised electronics, and a brand new Titanium Exhaust system, which weighs only a 1/10 of it’s original weight (3.4 kg compared to 34 kg!). The engine upgrade program in still in the works and final performance figures will be announced soon.
As for the pricing, the Molto Veloce body kit will set you back 25,000 Euro, the wheels, as meniotned, 10,000 Euro, and a brand-new interior another 10,000 Euro. Those awesome titanium exhausts will cost 5,500 Euro.
