Kia recently confirmed that their KDM flagship, known in the Korean market as K9, will go on sale in the global market as the new Quoris. Now they’ve released the first shots of the car’s interior, and you can see it’s a mishmash of features from Mercedes, Audi and BMW. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but we thought the Koreans have grown out of copying the Europeans.

Looking at the picture above you can’t help but notice a few similarities, even though suttle, with the aforementioned German makes. The steering wheel looks like that of the Mercedes S-Class, and so does the line of buttons beneath the main dislay. The rotary control knob on the center console is reminiscent to what you find in different Audi models, and the air con control panel and the shift knob seem like they’ve been lifted straight out of a BMW saloon.

The car is very feature-rich, as you would expect from a luxury saloon, with stuff like a large scree for the infotainment system, a Heads-up display system that shows navigation data and can even read road signs, TV screens and separate controls for the rear passengers, so on and so forth. Good car.
