‘6.3 Yachting’ is the name of the latest tuning package Kicherer has come up with for the Mercedes CLS63 AMG. When you look at it, you notice the new set of wheels, the number 11 graphic adorning the driver’s door, and the smoked lights. What you don’t notice is the enormous power bestowed on this car.
Kicherer guys have fiddled with the CLS63’s 5.5 liter twin-turbo V8 extensively and extracted another 100 horsepower out of it. It now has 625 horsepower and over 860 nm of torque. They have also removed the top speed limiter – which means you can do over 300 km/h – and installed a locking diff at the back – which means you can pull off spectacular tail slides more easily.
The wheels on this car are Kicherer’s own RS-1 forged models – 20-inch front and 21-inch rear – finished in black. They are complemented by orange brake calipers belonging to a new powerful system, and lowered ride height courtesy of optimized air suspension.
To improve the stock AMG interior Kicherer used its own blend of leather, carbon and Alcantara.
