Kia and DC Entertainment unveiled their real world Justice League superhero cars at the 2012 SEMA show. These are not superheros as such, but heavily tricked-out Kia cars designed as a tribute to the comic book. But they do serve a good purpose.

The cars are made to support DC’s “We Can Be Heroes” campaign, which fights tries to fight hunger in Africa. They will certainly grab a lot of attention, what with their unique styling and characters.

We have the flash-themed Kia Forte Koup, the Batman Optima, Cyborg Forte hatchback, Aquaman Rio, and the Green Lantern Soul. Some big names were involved in making these cars, including RIDES, West Coast Customs, and Super Street.

“It was a thrill to see custom cars based upon my Justice League artwork and sketches revealed at SEMA,”commented Jim Lee, co-publisher of DC Entertainment. “I have to tip my hat to the teams at West Coast Customs, RIDES and Super Street on their innovative work creating cars that represent iconic characters like Green Lantern, Cyborg, Aquaman and The Flash – all to benefit a great cause, ‘We Can Be Heroes’, and I’d like to thank Kia Motors America for supporting ‘We Can Be Heroes’.”,
