Rennen Forged has given an old Mercedes CL65 Type W215 a fresh breath of life by fitting it with a set of their concave Rennen Blue Label RS7 wheels. The 612-horsepower V12 AMG monster was the ultimate luxury coupe back in its day, and it can still cut it today, even though it looks its age.

Good news is, you can buy a CL65 AMG for dirt cheap these days, put a couple of mods on it, and end up with one helluva ride. Granted, you have to be brave to buy an old AMG Merc, especially one with 612 hp, because it belongs to Mercedes dark era when they were cutting corners to save money. If things go wrong with this CL you need spent the equivalent of a brand-new hatchback to get it going again. But it’s a risk worth taking, because it’s just such a cool car.

Those Rennen Wheels on this car measure at 20×8.5 front and 20×9.5 rear. They have also fitted it with four-piston brakes, Kleeman headers and new ECU map.
