Mercedes released some footage of the new SLS GT3 45th Anniversary model in action on the race track. This €446,250 race car is a limited version of the SLS GT3. Its purpose is mainly to celebrate the anniversary of Mercedes AMG partnership, but some say it also previews the SLS Black Series with its aero kit. We’ll see about that.

This SLS GT3 comes with some very nice details: the steel roll-over cage is finished in matt “designo magno graphite” to match the exterior. The racing car’s dashboard and centre console sport a matt carbon-fibre finish. Effective contrasts are produced by six-point seat belts and a steering wheel spider in silver.The collector’s item also boasts a seat shell in a high-strength carbon-fibre safety cell on the co-driver’s side. A special badge with a “1 of 5” logo on the seats and the centre console alludes to the limited production run for this racing car.
