The new 2013 version of the Nissan Titan has been released in the American market, where it takes on the likes of Chevy Silverado, Ford Raptor, Ram 1500, and its fellow Japanese truck, Toyota Tundra. The Titan is offered in King Cab and Crew Cab body styles, starting from $28,820.
You have the choice of 4×4 and 4×2 drive configurations, two wheelbases and three bed lengths with the Titan, but there is only one engine, a 5.6-liter DOHC Endurance V8. It’s a good one though, developing 7 horsepower and 385 lb-ft torque, and mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission. Together they give the car a towing capability of 9,500 pounds for King Cab and 9,400 pounds for Crew Cab.
As for the features, the upgraded 2013 Titan comes with a new tailgate design with aerodynamic rear spoiler, and bunch of new stuff such as refreshed exterior and interior treatments for the PRO-4X – with revised graphics, satin chrome grille, dark wheel finish and new Titan seat embroidery.
