This dark images serves as a teaser for the new Mitsubishi Outlander, set for debut at the 2012 Los Angels Auto Show. The American show will also see the debut of 2013 Outlander Sport Limited Edition which they say is something cool and eye-catching.
The 2014 Outlander though looks very familiar and doesn’t seem to come with any groundbreaking features. Mitsu says the new design emphasizes exterior aerodynamic efficiency. The car will in fact be among the most fuel-efficient compact CUV with 7-passenger seating as standard when it launches next year. To that end its engine will be equipped by an advanced MIVEC continuously-variable valve lift timing system for increased fuel economy.
Other features of the new Outlander worth boasting include Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
