This publicity stunt is possibly the coolest, and most ingenious, we’ve seen in years. BMW’s magical i window turns every passing car, except yellow cabs, into BMW i3 and BMW i8 models, as if all the cars on the road are i3s and i8s.

It’s not just for show either. The window also calculates how much money would be saved and how many tons of CO2 emissions we can reduce annually if each transformed car were all-electric.

Not sure if like a city where all cars are electric BMWs, but we have to say it’s pretty cool to watch. The i Window will be up and running at 42nd Street and 6th Avenue, across from Bryant Park in NYC, until midnight, Saturday, November 17th.
