The new Cadillac ATS is yet to get its feet grounded in the market and establish itself as the 3-Series killer it claims to be. But Cadillac tuner D3 decided to not wait any longer and released the first ever tuning kit for GM’s first ever proper sport sedan. First impressions: it looks really good.
D3’s ATS features a Black on Black theme, and comes with a dark-finished front grille, add-on aero parts on the front bumper, flared wheelarches, massive side skirts, roof spoiler, boot spoiler, and a rear apron with two large tailpipes.
The new large wheels are also finished in black, and are totally absorbed by the buffed-up fenders. They hug the wheels thanks to the suspension lowering module. The only new part, for now, enhancing the performance a bit is a new sport air intake system.
Not sure if traditional Cadillac customer base are going to be pleased with this car, or indeed the ATS itself. But that doesn’t really matter, because most of Cadillac’s traditional customers are dead anyway!
