Nissan 370Z sports car, which has been a bit depressed ever since Toyota brought out its GT86, has been given a fresh breath of life by Milltek. They announced launch of a new high-end stainless steel exhaust system for the Z, giving it a nicer noise and a few more horses to play with.
The hand-finished system is made of non-magnetic stainless steel, and is so carefully engineered to avoid the usual acoustic ‘drone’ associated with aftermarket systems. It comes in two variants, one the standard EC-complaint unit with a dignified noise, and the other an extreme version, which deletes the centre silencer for the full-fat sport noise and more power gain.
Milltek didn’t want to ruin the looks of the car with some ridiculously large tailpipes, so their units look pretty much like the standard. They say it’s the OEM+ look. Available in a choice of either titanium, ceramic black coating or mirror polished stainless steel, the pipes fit perfectly in the Nissan’s stock rear bumper.
Milltek’s system is priced at £1525.33 for the mellow version, and £1269.13 for the extreme one.
