Last month Porsche Museum hosted the Soundnacht (sound night) event, one of their rather unusual events where fans gather to sit down for a couple of hours and listen to the engine noise of some classic racing Porsches. Sounds very nerdy, but for die hard Porsche fans it’s like a U2 concert.

Here’s a clip from the event, containing more than 20 minutes of pure Porsche noise. Among the best performers there are the 804 Formula 1 car, the 911 Carrera 4×4 “Paris Dakar”, and the 917/30 Le Mans racer.
