Motor Trend’s Jonny Lieberman, once again, puts the new Cadillac ATS up against its main German rivals, the BMW 335i and the Mercedes C350. He’s driven different versions of all these cars before, and also compared them against each other. Now it’s time for a threesome with the top of the range models, to see which one of these fine cars is better at being a sports saloon.

In the previous test Jonny drove a 2.o liter turbo ATS with manual gearbox, which he said was the cars Achilles’ heel. So this time around he went for the cream of the crop, the 3.6L V6 6-speed Automatic version. Let’s see how this one measures up against ze mighty Germans:
