Gallant Abflug has a unique approach to tuning. They believe a proper tuning job is an extreme makeover. That is probably why they give their tuned car new names. Here’s Abflug’s Nissan GT-R, which they call Aloof 01-R. It is extremely Japanese, but still very interesting!
The Aloof GT-R gets a completely new front bumper with a splitter, unique vent openings, and a narrow front grille. Front wings are new too, and have air vents behind them. Then there’s the side skirts, and rear over fenders that add a considerable amount to the car’s width. The kit also includes a dry carbon roof and carbon rear spoiler, as well as a new rear bumper with Audi R8-like vents, diffuser with pronounced fins, and four tailpipes with burned tips.
Abflug has tuned the GT-R’s V6 turbo engine as well, with reinforced turbos and ECU software from Japanese brand PentRoof. It now makes 634 hp, a significant improve over the standard 550.
Last but not least, the Aloof gets a set of 20-inch Abflug Prism III wheels in black with red accenting, wrapped with 255/35 ZR20 front and 295/30 ZR20 Pirelli P-Zero tires.
I like that they give their cars a new name after they are tuned, it give them a whole new image.
