While we are waiting for Hennessey to release more details on the new 1500-hp Venom GT, they tease us with a video of the existing version doing a 0 to 170 km/h acceleration test. 370 might sound like a lot, but technically the 1200-hp Venom can do 440 km/h, so it’s not that big a deal.
What is astonishing however is the way it gathers speed. It takes the Venom only 19.96 seconds to reach 370 from standing still:
Powering the Hennessey Venom GT is a twin turbo V-8 engine producing an amazing 1,200 bhp and 1,155 lb-ft of torque. The Hennessey Venom GT is able to put all of it’s power to the ground with the help of an adjustable traction control system, which is being put to test in this video.
