Juke Nismo, the factory-tuned version of the weird-looking but rather popular small crossover, goes on sale in the UK next month, priced from £19,995. It is hard to tell if that’s good value or not, because it comes with an awful lot of extras and a tweaked engine, which is nice, but then it looks like this…
It all depends on your personal preferences. If you can live with the way the Juke looks, then it is awesome value. The Nismo treatment adds lots of styling details you might be interested in, including Nismo front and rear bumpers and side skirts, signature red door mirrors and lower pinstripe, special badges, LED light, and 18-inch wheels.
The interior is improved as well, with Nismo sports seats in suede with red stitching, Alcantara and leather steering wheel, black centre console/door trim finishers, suede door lining trim, black headliner, Nismo-branded driving mats, and Nismo front entry guards.
The Nismo Juke also has superior performance compared to the normal models. It has the same 1.6-litre direct injection turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, but it’s tuned up to 200PS and 250Nm of torque. That gives the car a 0 to 60 time of 7.8 seconds and a top speed of 134mph. Sport tuned suspension and steering are also included.
