Nissan announced a new entry-level version of the Navara pickup truck called Visia in the British market, aimed at business buyers who need a tough, no-nonsense, affordable workhorse. This double-cab Navara is priced from £17,995.
The price of the car has been lowered by slashing some of the extra garnish that business users don’t need. For instance, the Visia comes with black rather than chrome. It’s the same story on the outside, where you get more body-colored parts where normal models get two-tone paint and chrome.
There has been no significant compromise on the equipment list, as the Visia still gets four-wheel drive, air conditioning, central door locking, six airbags, a CD player and Bluetooth connectivity.
Regardless of the visual features, the rest of the car is pure Navara, with a 144 PS and 350Nm of torque 2.5 liter dCi engine, 2.36m2 load bed and an internal bed length of 1,511mm, 2,600kg towing capacity and a maximum 1,250kg payload.
