Mercedes tuner MKB has a range of performance upgrade packages for the brand’s V8 engines. The best of the lot is, naturally, for the 5.5 liter bi-turbo AMG V8 engine found in a number of their cars. And the best candidate to receive this kit is the cool and sexy CLS-Class.

MKB’s Mercedes CLS63 AMG benefits from a package that boosts the output of the biturbo engine from the standard 557 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, to a simply colossal 700 horsepower and over 1000 Nm of torque. It has something to do with the boost pressure applied to those turbochargers. The limiting factor is apparently the crank, which just explodes if you keep pushing the boost up. The engine itself can take it no problem.

Performance-wise, the MKB monster can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds which considerably faster than the standard car, and since the top speed limited has been ditched, it can hit a top speed of 340 km/h. Those are insane numbers in a luxury four-door sedan with a big boot and massage seats!
