Brabus G800 is the latest edition of super G-Wagen by the German power house unveiled at the Qatar International Auto Show. This dinosaur, as you’ve already guessed, has 800 horsepower, and the coolest body kit ever fitted to any Mercedes G-Class.
The G800 is powered by the firm’s 6.0 liter V12 Bi-turbo engine that in this format develops 800 horsepower and 1,420 Nm of torque. That torque had to be limited to 1,100 Nm, or it would demolish the 7-speed transmission.
But even that limited torque will get the G800 from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and onto a limited top speed of 250 km/h. If you feel you can handle it, you can have the limiter removed and do 270. That insane turn of speed has been made possible thanks to a special Bilstein suspension system, Brabus monoblock 23-inch wheels, and 305 section tires.
There are a lot of extra garnish as well, such as a super deluxe cabin with the best kind of leather for the seats, carbon trims and velour floor mats, as well as branded side sills, and logo projectors in the doors. The Widestar body kit meanwhile has to do more than just look good, and enhance the aerodynamic properties of the car.
No word on the pricing yet, but given Brabus’ previous works with the G-Wagen, we reckon you are looking at a half a million dollar car.
Brabus the beast!
