CUT48 car wrapping company has wrapped a McLaren Mercedes SLR in a special blue and gloss black film fro a customer, and the end result turned out so brilliant, they decided to officially announce it. We are not particularly fond of baby blue color for a car, but we have to say it does look quite good.
The SLR is starting to look old, even though it is still one of the fastest and most fun supercars in the world. So they came up with this treatment to give the old gal a fresh new look. Complementing the blue wrap of the body panels are the gloss black bits, featured on side mirrors, side vents, and parts of the bumpers. The wheels are also finished in black.
Total cost of this job is 4,350 Euro.
Mind you, this is not a real factory-tuned SLR 722. It is a normal McLaren Mercedes SLR tuned by Edo Competition to make 722 horsepower. They’ve added some high performance goodies to the SLR’s 620hp supercharged V8; stuff like sport air filters and new sport catalytic converters, modified compressor, new intake and exhaust manifolds, and a stainless steel sport exhaust system. It now makes 722 hp and 890 Nm of torque; enough to hit a top speed of 345 km/h.
