Even though the performance numbers for Lamborghini Aventador and Lexus LFA are worlds apart, they are good candidates for a good ol’ drag race. They are both incredibly exotic cars, and cost roughly the same. Alright, so the picture above kinda gives it away, but you should still check out the video after the jump. The way these cars gather speed beggars belief.

The Lambo is much more powerful than the Lexus – it has 700 horsepower against the LFA’s 560 – but it is also 200 kg heavier. Still, it totally thrashes the Japanese supercar. The Aventador is about 1.4 seconds quicker to 100 km/h, and by the time the Lexus hits 250 km/h, it is doing almost 280.
