Nissan Juke Nismo is yet to hit the market, but already Nissan is working on hotter, faster version of the car. They’ve apparently realized they’ve put too much emphasis on the looks, and not enough on the performance.
So the next Juke Nismo will get more power, an upgraded chassis, and beefier brakes. The 200bhp 1.6 liter turbo engine in the Nismo will be tuned to around 220, plus 220 lb-ft of torque. To cope with that, Nismo will also revise the suspension with new dampers, springs and shock absorber. That’ll drop the car by 20mm. Juke Nismo Plus will be offered with either front-wheel drive and manual gearbox, or four-wheel-drive and a CVT transmission.
The hotter Juke Nismo will be launched by the end of the year to take on MINI Countryman JCW.
