A few days ago news emerged that Nissan is developing a new version of the Juke Nismo that not only features visual upgrades over the standard car and has tighter suspension, it is also faster and more powerful. Turns out it’s called the Juke Nismo RC, and SportAuto got to sample it on a test track recently.
The Juke Nismo RC does get more power than the standard car, but not my much. The 1.6 liter turbo engine in this car makes 221 horsepower and around 300 Nm of torque. So it would be slightly faster, and, as we can see in the video, it also handles much better. It’s got sportier suspension with new shocks and springs, plus high performance tires, which enable it to pull some serous Gs around corners.
All in all, an interesting proposition by Nismo nutters.
