Mercedes decided not to mess around this time and unveiled the entire 2014 E-Class family in one take at the Detroit Motor Show. The lineup includes the new E-Class Saloon and Estate, the E-Coupe and E-Cabrio, and the new E63 AMG, which also gets an S-Model.
Now, the looks of the new E-Class has caused a bit of controversy, but that aside, Mercedes has come up with a high-quality product here. The new mid-size sedan comes with safety and convenience features you would normally find in an S-Class. The range of engines is also revised, with a number of diesel and petrol units available in sedan, estate and coupe versions, while the sedan also gets a new hybrid.
The cherry for the top of the new E-Class cake is the E63 model which this time around packs 557 horsepower in its standard edition, and 580 if you go for the all-wheel-drive S-Model.
