We have talked a lot about the new Porsche 991 Carrera 4 and why it doesn’t really make sense paying the extra money for it over a C2S, unless you live somewhere with unusually slippery roads. However, in this video Evo’s Henry Catchpole points out an important fact that we may have overlooked. The electric steering system, for which the normal 991 got a lot of stick, is much more communicative in the Carrera 4.
Now that doesn’t sound like a huge advantage, but believe me it is enough reason to consider the C4S over the C2. With the four-wheel-drive car you get all the good stuff the C2 offer, plus the security of the AWD system, and the steering feels the way it should in a Porsche 911. And it is still a playful little sod. What more can one ask for?
