If you use your BMW M3 only as a road car you are wasting a big chunk of its capabilities. To really enjoy an M3’s fantastic chassis and perfect balance, you have to take it to the race track. To help you unleash the full track potential of your car RS Racing Team has come up with a great package.

What they are proposing is a proper racing car treatment. It is so deep that when they are through with the standard M3, it has lost a whopping 190 kg. Now, that kind of weight saving regiment comes at a price.

You’ll lose most of the creature comforts, plus your carpets, door pads, and rear seats. The front seats are replaced with racing bucket seats featuring six-point harness, and there is a roll cage that makes the cabin really claustrophobic. Carbon fiber panels are everywhere, and you get a racing steering wheel and shifter. It’s not that bad, though. You can still drive this car from your house to the race track, no problem. It just won’t be as comfortable as before.

RS also adjusts the suspension and installs 19-inch lightweight alloys. Because of that substantial weight saving, there was no need for mega power to get the desired performance, which is why the engine is only slightly upgraded. It now makes 450 hp and 430 Nm of torque.

It does 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and can reach a top speed of 300 km/h.
