What the Americans will get as Versa Note will hit Europe, with different specs, as the new Nissan Note. This dynamic B-segment vehicle packed with technology features will be built in Nissan’s Sunderland plant in the UK.
Nissan Note will set new standards in the B-segment when it arrives, as it features a couple of firs-in-class safety and convenience systems. It gets Nissan’s new Safety Shield with Blind Spot Warning system, Lane Departure Warning and an advanced Moving Object Detection system, as well as Around View Monitor (AVM). Nissan’s Connect navigation system with all connectivity features is also on the Note’s list of features.
The engine lineup comprises a 1.2-liter with 80PS and 110Nm, plus combined fuel economy of 60.1mpg, and CO2 emissions of 109g/km, and the supercharged 1.2-litre DIG-S engine that generates 98PS at 5,600 rpm and 142Nm of torque, and returns 65.7mpg with 99 g/km CO2.
The new Note comes with three trim levels of Visia, Acenta and Tekna. The standard on all models include stop-start ignition systems, six airbags and cruise control with a speed limiter. Mid-spec Acenta models add air-conditioning, Bluetooth connection and rear electric windows, while top grade Tekna models feature the Safety Shield pack, Nissan Connect, Around View Monitor, part leather trim and keyless entry with i-key.
