Even though this year’s Geneva Motor Show for Citroen is all about promoting their Hybrid Air Technology, they are also bringing a new production model along. It is a restyled C3 hatchback featuring new exterior and interior appointments, and more efficient engines.
The C3 Facelift comes with updated chevrons and bumper-mounted LED daytime running lights at the front, while at the back you get new tail light clusters combined with new reflectors set underneath the rear bumper. A new Ink Blue body color is also added to the range.
As for the interior, new chrome detailing and a thermo-coated soft-touch dashboard are among the main highlights, while matt black, a warm brown or Moondust grey trims are available to match the upholstery.
Despite its fairly compact size – 3.94m long & 1.71m wide – Citroen C3 is rather practical with a 300 liter boot and lots of storage areas in central console, glove box and central armrest. It also features semi-high seats which give occupants a better outside view.
The C3 Facelift can be had with the new-generation Pure Tech 3-cylinder petrol engines with a 1.0 or 1.2-liter capacity with 25 percent better efficiency, or the VTi 68, VTi 82, and VTi 120 PureTech. UK buyers also have the choice of four diesels: HDi 70, e-HDi 70, HDi 90 and e-HDi 115.
