Aston Martin Announces One-Make GT3 Cup

Aston Martin GT3 Cup 545x364 at Aston Martin Announces One Make GT3 Cup

Aston Martin is boosting its Motorsport activities by launching a new one-make racing series called Aston Martin GT3 Cup for the owners of Vantage GT3 and DBRS9 models. The GT3 Cup is an invitational class running parallel to the Aston Martin GT4 Challenge of Great Britain.

What sets this series apart and make it unique is that Aston gets to come up with rules and regulations, and they decided each race this season should be either 100 minutes long or 100 laps. That is because Aston is celebrating the centenary of the brand this year.

The series kick off at Silverstone on April 6 and goes on to Donington Park on June 1, and Brands Hatch on July 7. Currently Aston Martin has no plan to expand the GT3 Cup to outside United Kingdom.
