BMW specialist Manhart Racing announced a new tuning program for the BMW M6 – suitable for M6 Coupé (F13), M6 Cabriolet (F12) and M6 Gran Coupé (F06) – including suspension lowering, wheel/tire combinations as well as four performance upgrade kits.
Manhart offers a wide range of aftermarket wheels, but for this car they recommend the three-part MHR08 Track Spec by ADV.1 in size 9.5×21 and 10.5×21 inches front and rear, in either black or brushed finish. They are complemented with a coilover suspension system that allows a substantial lowering.
As for the performance, Stage 1 offers 620 horsepower and a maximum torque of 720Nm through software optimization. Stage 2 adds some downpipe and crank the power up to 640hp and 760Nm. Stage 3 is where things get more serious with the addition of a Carbon Air Intake System which results in 670hp and 790Nm, and finally Stage 4 with its MHR performance box goes up to 700 horses and 860Nm.
The tuner also offers a crazy sounding valve control of the exhaust system connected to the M button with 90 or 100mm tailpipes.
