KTW Tuning decided to have a go at making their own version of the Mercedes C63 Black Series based on the coupe version of the German sports car. It is a fairly light and reasonably priced treatment for those who badly want a Black Series, but can’t afford the real thing.

They begin with a performance upgrade for the M156 6.2 liter V8 engine and boost it to 525 hp / 386 kW. As part of the engine tuning program they tweak the ECU and remove the Vmax limiter, so hitting 300 km/h is not far out of reach.

Visual tuning is limited to a sports grille, window tinting, and a set of 8.5 x 20 inches wheels with 235/30ZR20 tires at the front axle and in 10 x 20 inches with 275/25ZR20 at the rear axle.

The cost of this tuning package is 6599.00 Euros.
