Finally, Subaru is going to launch an all-new version of the legendary WRX, and this is what it may look like. These are the first leaked pictures of the new WRX Concept – to be revealed at the New York Auto Show – and it looks spot on for a new yob mobile.

Of course, this being a concept car, there are some exaggerated details in it that will never make it to the production; stuff like the buffed up fenders, the fancy headlights and LEDs, the massive diffuser, and those slim door mirrors. But on the whole, it looks quite exciting. Even if they use like 70 percent of what we are seeing here in the final version, that’ll be good.

With the WRX though, it has never been about the looks. It always looked terrible, but fans didn’t mind that because it was so fast an so awesome to drive, you’d forgive it anything. Details are scarce on the next-gen WRX, but the word is it is going to get an electric turbocharger.
