The latest versions of Volvo S60, V60 and XC60 can now be specified with a new R-Design package. It includes visual updates for a more sporty look, dynamic upgrades for better handling, and a performance upgrade courtesy of the Polestar performance option with up to 392 horsepower.
All three models get similar visual treatments, including a distinctive front-end design with sports grille in matte black with high gloss black stripes, DRL lights in the outer corners, rear apron with dual tailpipes, and larger wheels – 19-inch version for the S60/V60 and a 20-inch for the XC60.
As for the interior, you get a nice blend of black Nubuck textile and perforated leather, lots of ‘R’ logos, and Adaptive Digital Display with three settings – Elegance, Eco and Performance.
In the chassis department we have the sport lowered suspension which is 15 percent stiffer, and the Corner Traction Control, Volvo’s torque vectoring system.
The R-Design package is available for all the engines in the range, from the D2 diesel with 115 horsepower (not available in the XC60) to the 3.0 litre, six cylinder T6 petrol turbo with 304 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque.
