With the latest special edition smart fortwo it seems they are practicality giving the car away, as there is a finance program that puts you behind the wheel of one for just £79 per month, 0% APR and including one years’ complimentary Motor Insurance.
That would be understandable if this edition21 was one of those ridiculously colorful versions of the fortwo, but it is actually rather dignified. It is finished in black with no stars or stripes anywhere on the body, and good-looking 15-inch wheels. It also feature a black tridion safety cell and black mirror caps. Even the edition 21 logos are subtle. Optionally, you can have a white tridion safety cell, but for the love of all that’s sacred don’t!
Interior features include black fabric/leather-look upholstery, a three-spoke leather sports steering wheel with shift paddles and the addition of a handy cup holder. And as for the power, you get 71 bhp to play around with.
On-the-road prices for the smart fortwo edition21 are £9,575 for the coupé, and £11,075 for the cabrio.
