Long before tuners like Mansory come around, if you wanted an over the top, ostentatious car to show off your wealth in a very uncool way, Hamann was the company to go to. And their BMW X6 Tycoon has always been the ultimate posemobile. Now there is a new one, and while it looks pretty much like the old models, there are some new details worthy of your attention.

As is the case with Tycoon kits, the X6 gets a bolder, wider presence thanks to the fender flares that shake hand via the new and pretty sizable side skirts. They then join forces with the new front and rear bumpers that feature a sporty design with a spoiler up front and a diffuser out back.

Other little details that play a major role in giving the Tycoon its unique look include a carbon hood with vents in it, a couple of spoilers, and a new set of wheels available in 22 or 23-inch and in different designs.

As for the interior, the traditional leather, alcantara, carbon fiber treatment is applied and they are used generously to cover every bit of the cabin. There is also a new tachometer with a speedo that goes up to 320 km/h.

Being an X6M, this car is a fairly powerful in its standard form. It has a 4.4 liter bi-turbo V8 with 55 hp. But when Hamann is through with it, installing new ECU and exhaust system, it makes 670 horsepower and a staggering 950 Nm of torque. That takes this giant car to a stop speed of 300 km/h, which should be exciting.
