This is one of the weirdest tuning packages we have ever come across. A tuning firm called OK-Chiptuning decided to simultaneously pay homage to two great German products: the Porsche 911 (996) and the Manta-Manta comedy film from 1991. The philosophy of this project is a tad confusing, so let’s just focus on the car itself and see what kind of goodies it gets.
The tuners begin with the flat-six, turbocharged, water-cooled engine, and by fitting a K24-Turbolader, larger injection valves, and also a larger fuel pump, 5-Bar-fuel pressure regulator, and a new exhaust system with 70mm tailpipes, boosted the output from 450 horsepower to 650 and 750 Nm of torque. That is a 100 horsepower more than the brand-new 2013 TurboS, the 991 series.
To help the 996’s old chassis cope with the new-found power, they also installed KW-Coilover Suspension version 3, a Techart rear spoiler, and Techart 19-inch wheels with 235/35-19 and 305/30-19 tires front and rear. As part of the Manta treatment, the wheels are painted pink.
Last but by no means least, they wrapped the whole thing in Manata-themed film, provided by Cam Shaft Premium Wrapping.
