As you may remember last year Jamaican Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt became Nissan’s brand ambassador for GT-R, and together they made a one-off gold-painted GT-R which was then auctioned for charity. After that Nissan made another gold GT-R, this time as a personal car for Mr. Bolt, to show their appreciation of his contributions.
The unique Bolt GT-R was delivered to the world’s fastest man during a special but casual ceremony in his home country of Jamaica. The car was presented to Bolt at his home training facility by Jose Román, vice president of Nissan Latin America and the Caribbean, and in presence of a sizable crowd including members of Usain Bolt Foundation.
Based on the 2014 GT-R, Bolt’s car is tailored to his driving style, which was recorded by Nissan engineers during his test drive of the car in Japan last year. Besides the one-of-a-kind paint job, this GT-R also has 0-spoke RAYS aluminum-alloy forged wheels in hyper-titanium, white interior, and BOSE audio system.
