Volvo specialist Heico Sportiv has come up with a special version of the V40 hatchback as a tribute to their partner Pirelli Tires. The Volvo V40 Pirelli Edition by Heico is heavily tuned inside and out, and under the bonnet, but it may remain a one-off.
On the outside this handsome Volvo rocks a metallic black paint job garnished with red accenting on the bumpers and side sills, complete with a see of two-tone 19-inch wheels. The car also sports a body kit consisting of a front spoiler lip, a roof spoiler, and a rear diffuser unit. Wrapped in 235/35R19 Pirelli P Zero tires those wheels are connected to a sport suspension system that sits 30mm lower than the standard V40.
Inside the cabin, the tuner has utilized Alcantara with red accenting to make a sporty atmosphere, which is complemented with sport pedals, unique gear lever and handbrake grip, special floor mats, a coupe of Pirelli badges, and Pinao black trims. It really is a nice place to spend time in.
Performance-wise, this special V40 benefits form a power upgrade package that boosts the output of its 1.6 liter turbo engine from 150 PS and 240 Nm, to 200 PS and 300 Nm. That in plain English means the V40 can now go from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds (about a second faster than before), and reach a top speed of 230 km/h.
