BMW revealed a fully kitted-out version of the new 4 Series Coupe with bespoke M Performance parts exclusively designed for this car. M Performance Parts for the 4er includes a couple of very distinctive cosmetic upgrades, sports interior package, and performance modifications. This car will pave the way for the M4 model, due next year.
Visually, the M Performance 4er is fitted with M bumpers, carbon fiber front splitter, rear spoiler, rear diffuser, and mirror caps, carbon stripes in the side skirts, blacked-out grilles, and some unnecessary graphics.
Inside, the car gets a racing car-inspired steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara and featuring the M race display, and a full carbon fiber trimming package. Alcantara is also used to cover parts of the dashboard and seats, and it’s garnished with white stitching. Sport pedals are also included.
Performance-wise, the biggest change is the addition of a limited-slip differential as an optional extra for all models, while the car also gets uprated suspension, brakes, 20-inch M wheels, and sport exhaust system.
The carbon bits on the exterior might seem a bit showy to normal people, but M enthusiasts who refer to these cars by their manufacturing code (in this case F32 M) are going to love it. Of course, hard-core M fans are going to wait for the real deal – the M4.
