Kia’s partnership with DC Entertainment for creating Justice League-inspired show cars continue with the launch of this all-star Sorento model. Designed for this year’s San Diego comic-con festival, the car joins the other eight Justice League Kia vehicles on display.

Those cars, each representing a character of the Justice League comics, were designed by DC and made by Kia as part of the “We Can Be Heroes” giving campaign which fights drought and famine in Africa. The new Sorento model that features all the characters will be the centerpiece of a special online charity auction on eBay. The proceeds will of course go to the campaign.

All the members of the Justice League – including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg – have been featured on a differen Kia before, but this time and on this Sorento they all come together to wrap things up. They have been hand-painted and custom air-brushed by the guys at the world-famous West Coast Customs tuning center.

“Our goal in 2013 was to bring our fans and the JUSTICE LEAGUE Super Heroes together in unique ways to fight the hunger crisis in the Horn of Africa. That effort started with the once-in-a-lifetime opportunities we’ve been able to offer through our crowdfunding campaigns that have raised over $285,000 to-date,” Nelson said. “Now, through these tremendous partnerships with Kia and eBay, the auction will take the offerings to a whole new level with a truly one-of-a-kind, and fully driveable, CUV customized by Jim Lee.”
