Italian tuner Novitec has put together a very cool system. They have three divisions now: Rosso for tuning Ferrari cars, Tridente for Maserati, and now Torado for Lamborghinis. And this is the first tuned Lamborghini they have come up with, an awesome machine with a staggering 1000 horsepower.
Actually they can do anything from 722 to 969. It is up to you to decide how much power you need. I know, it’s pointless. Everybody will go for the full-fat option.
To get that 1000hp (969 to be precise), Torado engineers bolt a couple of superchargers on the Aventador’s mighty V12 engine, and tune the ECU, intakes, exhausts, injectors, and fuel pumps to keep up with them.
In spite of the huge bump in power – a gain of 300 horsepower – you shouldn’t expect a big difference in the initial acceleration or top speed. Where that power shows itself is in between. The in-gear acceleration is massively improved.
Torado also offers a very cool body kit for the Aventador consisting of a more pronounced front spoiler, side skirts, and a fixed rear wing. The styling is further improved by employing 20-inch front and 21-inch rear custom wheels shod with Pirelli P-Zero tires, and KW suspension that lowers the ride height.
The interior meanwhile benefits from a substantial amount of carbon fiber, leather and Alcantara with contrast stitching, and a Revox audio system.
