It’s been a while since we last saw a proper upgrade package for the handsome Range Rover Evoque. Now German tuner Loder1899 has picked up the slacks and came up with a kit that makes the Evoque more offroad-ready by fitting it with chunky tires and raised suspension.

All of the the tuning packages we’ve seen so far for this car were flamboyant and frankly ostentatious styling kits that tried very very hard to turn the Evoque into a talentless posemobile, hence the dropped ride height and ridiculously low slung body parts. So it is quite refreshing to see that someone is taking a different approach for a change.

They have fitted the car with a set of WP 18 inch wheels wrapped with Mickey Thompson ATZ tires. They enable the Land Rover’s pretty boy to take on off-road challenges that are usually a job for the proper, full-blooded Range Rovers. Complementing the wheel/tire combo is a set of special springs that increase the ride height by 35 mm.

Upon request, Loder can also hook you up with a 76mm thick stainless steel front guard, side steps, underbody protection, PIAA lights, and an engine upgrade kit for the popular SD4 diesel engine that boosts the power from 220 to 250 PS, and the torque from 500 Nm to 580.
