A while ago we told you about Toyota’s plans for this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, and the debut of the GT86 TRD Griffon. The car has now arrived in the UK and is ready for its big break at Goodwood. On this occasion, Toyota released a bunch of new photos of this racing GT86.

The TRD Griffon is a concept to showcase what TRD is capable of doing with a few extra parts. The car is designed to be a track machine, and gets aerodynamic changes, racing suspension, stripped-out interior, and a mechanical limited-slip differential. It means business.

You can a lot of bits and pieces you find on the Griffon for your road-going GT86. They are part of TRD’s extensive catalog. You can a prominent body kit for example, the same sort of sport suspension and wheel/tire combination, and you can swap the standard Torsen diff for the mechanical LSD, which makes for better track performance.
