When someone is a loyal customer of your products for over 80 years, you ought to recognize and celebrate him. That’s exactly Ford did for Floyd Pullin of Confluence, PA, a 102-year-old man who has been a Ford customer since 1920s — since when Henry Ford was still running the company!
So as Floyd took delivery of his 16th Ford, which is a brand new 2013 F-150 STX, Ford throw him a birthday party and named him Honorary Ford Trucks President for a day. Now that’s a birthday he is not going to forget in a hurry, especially as he probably hasn’t got many left.
Floyd’s loyalty to Ford has turned him into a public figure in Pennsylvania, as one of the guests at his birthday party was State Senator Rich Kasunic. He joined the men and women of the Ford Trucks team, and Floyd’s family and friends, who gathered at Thurby Riverside Ford in Confluence, and made him a special happy birthday video.

Customer loyalty, especially when we’re talking about American cars, is something that needs to be cherished these days, because it is so rare to find. The obsession with value has driven many people to Japanese and Korean cars, which is fair enough. But you can’t drive Hyundais for 80 years, that’s for sure.
Good for you, old sport!
